A probe by the State Police Computer Crimes Unit has led to charges that an Orange County man had several videos of child pornography on his computer.
The investigation, in conjunction with the State Police Troop F Major Crimes Unit and state troopers in Highland, led to the arrest Thursday of James F. Pezzo, 51, of Highland, on charges of possession of a sexual performance by a child, a felony.
The probe, which also included the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, resulted in a search warrant being executed at Pezzo’s home. An analysis of Pezzo’s computers revealed that he had several videos of child pornography.
Pezzo is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lloyd Court on May 1 to answer the charge against him.
