State Police DWI Checkpoint Yields Two Arrests
A DWI checkpoint set up by New York State Police in Port Chester on Saturday, Aug. 31 yielded two arrests. A 33-year-old Cos Cob, Ct. man was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He was turned turned over to White Plains Police Department to answer a previously issued warrant for his arrest, police said.
A 41-year-old Bedford Hills man was charged with misdemeanor DWI and provided a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .16 percent, police report.
Both subjects are scheduled to appear before the Village of Port Chester Justice Court at a later date.
