Quick Turn Into Diner Parking Lot Ends with DWI Charge

A Connecticut man who caught the attention of a Port Chester police officer who saw him make a sharp turn into a diner parking lot has been charged with drunken driving.
Police said Juan Carlos Montoya, 49, of 2559 Main St., Bridgeport, CT, was arrested after a 1:41 a.m. incident Monday on Boston Post Road. Police said Montoya made a fast turn into the lot and hit cement curb blocks.
A tire on the car Montoya was driving became stuck between the curb blocks. Police said Montoya appeared intoxicated when he was questioned and he was then charged with driving while intoxicated.
Montoya, police said, was additionally charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated because he was found to have more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system. Montoya faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
