A Port Chester woman died Thursday afternoon after an apparent fall from her fourth-floor balcony.

Officers responded to an apartment building at 395 Westchester Ave. at 2:30 p.m. after a report of "a person found on the ground and bleeding," Port Chester police said.

The victim, identified as 59-year-old Lorraine Italiano, was rushed to Westchester Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead a few minutes after arrival.
