Port Chester Woman Charged in Baby Formula Theft

Police: $82 worth of Enfamil taken at Stop & Shop.

A Port Chester woman has been charged with petty larceny in connection with the theft of $82 worth of baby forumla from a supermarket, according to Port Chester police.

Barbara Jean Cummings, 52, of 140 Grace Church St., was charged after an investigation of a 2 p.m. incident Sunday at the Port Chester , police said. Store personnel, police said, reported that five cans of Enfamil formula were hidden in the woman's pocketbook.

Cummings faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
