Police: 24-year-old found unconscious in store bathroom, had several packages of heroin.

A Port Chester woman found unconscious in the bathroom of a downtown supermarket has been arrested on a drug possession charge, according to Port Chester police.

Alexandra Moran, 24, of 309 Willett Ave., Port Chester, was arrested as a result of a 2:20 p.m. incident Friday at the Stop and Shop at The Waterfront. Police said they received a report of an unconscious woman and when they arrived at the store they found Moran in the store bathroom with a hyperdermic needle and several small bags containing heroin.

Moran was treated by emergency medical service personnel and taken to White Plains Hospital for treatment.

Police said she was charged with seventh-degre criminal possession of a controlled substance and faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.

Instead of putting her in jail they need to get her some help.port Chester courts are horrible all they care about is how much money they can get out of you, or throwing you in jail.I know what she's going threw.when your on drugs you are so lonely and so lost, so instead of judging her and putting her down why don't we say a prayer for her.why don't we stop hurting each other and start helping.

Need to go straight to jail. Not the police's responsibility to get her help. Plus what about the customers at Stop and Shop? They don't have to be subjected to the addict behavior. Everyone always want a help, but ain't willing to help themselves!
