Port Chester Woman Accused Of Hiding Stolen Items In Baby Carriage

Police: $293 worth of items reported taken at Kohl's.

A Port Chester woman is accused of petty larceny in connection with the theft of $293 worth of items that were hidden in a baby carriage at the Kohl's department store, according to Port Chester police.

Police said Patricia Molino, 27, of 244 William St., was arrested after a 5:30 p.m. incident on Saturday at Kohl's. Loss prevention officers at the store told police they spotted Molino — who had several children with her at the time — placed merchandise in the baby carriage.

Police said Molino went to a check out aisle and paid for some merchandise, but had an assortment of items including a men's shirt, a purse and jewelry hidden in the occupied babby carriage. Loss prevention officers stopped Molino and she was arrested by Port Chester police.

Molino was released on $100 bail pending a hearing in Port Chester Jusctice Court.
