Port Chester Shoplifter Tries to Make Off with $150 Worth of Baby Formula

Cans dropped when thief is confronted.

A shoplifter tried to make off with $150 worth of baby formula from a Port Chester supermarket, according to Port Chester police.

In a 7:35 a.m. incident Monday, police said a man was confronted as he walked out of the Stop and Shop at 15 Waterfront Place. The man had a bulge under his shirt, which turned out to be a case of baby formula.

After being confronted, police said the shoplifter threw the baby formula on the ground outside the store and ran off. No arrest has been made in connection with the incident.
