Port Chester's Finest Outscore Port Chester's Bravest

Port Chester's Finest have won the 2013 bragging rights over Port Chester's Bravest.

In a basketball game at the Don Bosco Center in Port Chester on Sunday, village police officers won 65-52 over members of the Port Chester Fire Department.

The game took place prior to a fundraising dinner at the Southend Firehouse to raise money to support the Port Chester Fire Department's Explorer Post 700. The Explorer program gives teens a look at the inner workings of the role of a volunteer firefighter and prepares them to become volunteer firefighters.
