Port Chester Psychic Enlists Police Help to Catch Thief
When all she got was a cold reading, a local psychic called police to look for a man who ran off with a fistful of cash.

Although offers psychic services and tarot card readings to her customers for $35, the whereabouts of a quick-handed thief weren't in the cards Friday.
The shop's proprietor, a 42-year-old woman, called the Port Chester Police Department and told them a man walked into her 121 N. Main St. storefront at 10:30 a.m. The man put his hand into a donation jar on the counter, grabbed a fistful of cash and bolted, Lt. James Ladeairous said.

The shop carries a variety of religious and mystical-themed items, from statues of Catholic saints to Hindu figurines and replicas of ancient Egyptian statuary. Along with colorful devotional candles and incense, the proprietor also offers tarot card readings, according to the shop's website.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately six feet tall, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. Anyone with information on the theft can call the Port Chester Police Department at 914-939-1000.
