Port Chester Police Probe Lewd Incident

Port Chester police are investigating a lewd incident that took place over the weekend on a North Main Street homeowner's property.

Port Chester resident Sean McNerney reported to police on Saturday that a man had gone onto his property at about 3:30 a.m. and had committed a lewd act. McNerney, who wrote about the incident in his Port Chester Patch Local Voices blog post, said he was alerted to the incident by his home's video surveillance system.

McNerney said the video shows the man involved coming from in front of a nearby nightclub, then interacting with a woman in a van in front of a neighbor's home. He said the man eventually climbed over a wall and onto his driveway — where the man opened his pants and committed a lewd act.

Port Chester Police Det. Lt. Royal Monroe said the incident is under investigation and he is hopeful that an arrest will be made in connection with the incident.

"I have no words to describe how I felt when I saw this," McNerney wrote in his blog post about what he saw on the security video.
