Port Chester Man is Sentenced for Burglaries and Attempted Burglaries

Luis Pimental is responsible for burglaries and attempted burglaries in the Village of Port Chester.

In a Press Release by the Port Chester Police Department, they announce that Luis Pimental has been sentenced to nine years in State Prison and five years Post-release Supervision, for the burglaries and attempted burglaries he was responsible for in Port Chester between April 23rd and 25th of 2013.

On Thursday, April 25th at 2:11 am, Port Chester Police received a call from a resident on Fairview Place that someone was attempting to break into their home. Port Chester Police along with neighboring police from Rye Brook and Rye, located Luis Pimentel hiding under a car on Spring Street in Port Chester, said the press release from the Port Chester Police Department.

Luis Alberto Pimentel, 24 of 18 Bent Ave in Port Chester, NY was charged with seven counts of Burglary in the 2nd degree, which is a C felony, Resisting Arrest an A Misdemeanor, and Attempted Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, a D felony.  This last charge was because Pimentel attempted to grab one of the Officer’s gun while he was being arrested.

Pimentel plead guilty to Burglary in the 2nd degree and was sentenced on December 24th in Superior Court in White Plains, NY
