Police went into the apartment building where Carcamo had gone after assaulting the cabbie, and together with the driver himself, knocked on the door, police said. A woman opened the door and when police asked whether anyone else was at home, Carcamo appeared within the apartment and was positively identifed by the cabbie, Ladeairous said.
