Port Chester Man Charged with DWI on Sprain Brook Parkway

Police: Car parked illegally, driver spotted drinking alcoholic beverage in car.

A 30-year-old Port Chester man who was illegally parked on the Sprain Brook Parkway and was consuming alcoholic beverages in the car was charged with drunk driving, according to State Police.

Jorge I. Henao of Port Chester was approached by a state trooper at 4:40 a.m. on Sunday on the northbound Sprain Brook Parkway in Town of Greenburgh. Police said Henao appeared intoxicated.

Henao was taken to the Hawthorne State Police barracks, where police said he failed a chemical breath test for alcohol.

Henao was charged with driving while intoxicated and later released pending a hearing in Greenburgh Town Court on April 23.
