A 20-year-old Port Chester man ended up at Greenwich Hospital with a broken nose and an 18-year-old village man was charged with assault after an early-morning incident on Sunday, according to Port Chester police.
Village police were called to Washington Street at about 1 a.m. to break up a large group that had gathered on the street. When police arrived, a 20-year-old Port Chester resident said he had been pushed and punched during a dispute. After an investigation of the incident, police said Zachary Cesar, 18, 0f 70 Purday Ave., Port Chester was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
The 20-year-old was treated at Greenwich Hospital for the broken nose and a cut over the right eye and released. Police said the dispute was apparently over a girlfriend.
