Port Chester Man Charged with Assault in Poningo Street Domestic Dispute
23-year-old accused of punching 67-year-old.
A 23-year-old Port Chester man was charged with assault after a domestic dispute in which a 67-year-olld village man was punched in the face, according to Port Chester Police.
Jorge "George" Duche of 168 Poningo St. was arrested after village officers investigated an incident on Poningo Street on Sunday. Village officers found an 18-year-old Port Chester woman crying and she alerted police to a domestic incident that turned violent.
Police said officers found Duche nearby and stopped him for questioning. He was then arrested on a charge of third-degree assault in connection with an attack on a 67-year-old male relative.
