Port Chester Man Charged in $998 Theft

Police: Power tool kits taken from Home Depot.

A Port Chester man has been charged with petty larceny in connection with the theft of nearly $1,000 in merchandise from a Port Chester store, according to Port Chester Police.

Ricky Rodriguez, 60, of 45 Treverse Ave., was arrested at about 5:12 p.m. on Jan. 18 after workers at the Home Depot off Midland Avenue complained that Rodriguez took two power tool kits. The value of the kits totalled $998, police said.

Rodriguez faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
