Port Chester Man Charged In $1,450 Theft

Police: Anti-theft devices removed from clothing at Kohl's store.

A Port Chester man has been arrested in connection with the theft of $1,450 worth of clothing from a department store, where Port Chester police said electronic anti-theft tags were removed.

Anthony Correa, 46, of 84 Glen Ave., Port Chester, was charged at about 7:45  p.m. on Monday with attempted grand larceny and possession of a burglar's tools, according to police. Correa was arrested after an incident at the Kohl's store in Port Chester.

Police said Correa had tools that were used to take the anti-theft tags off merchandise at the store.
