Port Chester Man Arrested on Weapons, Bad Check Charges in Connecticut

A motorist stopped by police about 5:30 p.m. April 19 on West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich was charged with weapons in a motor vehicle, according to police.

Omar F. Reynoso, 24, of West Street, Port Chester, is accused of having a police baton in his vehicle. Police also found that Norwalk Police had obtained an arrest warrant charging him with issuing a bad check over $1,000. Reynoso posted a $25 bond on the weapons charge and was released to the custody of Norwalk Police. 

According to the CT Judicial Branch website, the bad check charge stems from an October 2012 incident. Reynoso was released on a $1,500 bond and scheduled to be arraigned April 29 in state Superior Court in Norwalk, according to the Judicial Branch.
