Port Chester Man Accused Of DWI After I-95 Accident

No one injured in collision.

A Port Chester man is accused of drunken driving after he was involved in an accident on I-95 on Sunday, according to Port Chester police.

Gustavo Morocho, 25, of 412 Orchard St., was stopped by Port Chester officers about 2 a.m. after police received a report of an accident on I-95 and that one of the cars involved was exiting the highway.

Police said they spotted Morocho in a greed Dodge Caravan that was being followed by another car that had its hazard lights operating. Village officers who questioned Morocho said the driver appeared intoxicated and there were beer bottles in the car. Additionally, police said they found damage to the car that corresponded with the accident report they had received.

Morocho was charged with driving while intoxicated and later released pending a Village Court hearing. The investigation of the accident was turned over to State Police.

Police said no one was hurt in the accident.
