Port Chester Man Accused Of Driving Under Influence Of Drugs

Police: Car stopped because of tinted windows.

A Port Chester man who was stopped on the Taconic State Parkway because of the tinted windows on his car was charged with driving with his ability impaired by drugs, according to State Police.

Ernesto Rios, 21, of 41 Orchard St., was stopped about 7:25 p.m. Sunday in the Town of Ghent in upstate Columbia County. Police said Rios was found to be under the influence of drugs and was arrested.

Rios was processed at the State Police barracks in Livingston and released pending an Oct. 17 hearing in Ghent Justice Court.
