About $60 in cash taken.

As Port Chester was cleaning up from Hurricane Sandy, police say someone smashed the front window of a deli in the village and stole its cash register.

About $60 cash was in the register of La Nana Deli, 77 Midland Avenue, when it was taken, police said.

A Port Chester police officer on patrol spotted the broken window at about 2:18 a.m. Thursday and discovered the cash register was taken. The cash registered has not been found.
