Port Chester Couple On Morning TV, Talk About N. Main St. Incident

Incident reported on Port Chester Patch gains media attention throughout metro NY area.

Sean McNerney and his wife, Elly Trickett, were interviewed on the WPIX 11 Morning Show this morning about their with a man they found in their backyard.

The incident led to the discovery of that the man had actually spent hours passed out in front of their home and had been repeatedly robbed while on the ground on North Main Street in Port Chester.

McNerney and Trickett explained during the interview that they installed the security camera system after past incidents at their home involving late-night activities on North Main Street. They were hoping the video would help them gain attention to noisy problems in the neighborhood related to the late-night bar crowds in the area.

Port Chester police are investigating the robberies shown on the video, and they are also conducting an internal review of how the department did not know about the man lying on the ground for hours on North Main Street. Police say that although the video shows people stepping over the man, no one called to report there was a man who needed help.
