Port Chester Cops Bust Alleged Drug Dealer
In an on-going drug investigation, Port Chester police, in conjunction with Federal agents, arrested a man caught with 265 Oxycodone pills without a prescription on Sept. 9, police Lt. James Ladeairous said.
Detecitve Chris Krzeminski and Federal agents saw the suspect at Home Depot “waiting for a buyer,” Ladeairous said, and made the arrest.
The 43-year-old suspect, Mark Varbero of Alto Avenue, Port Chester, had the pills in a large orange container in his car and admitted they were his, police said. Because the weight of the pills amounted to more than half an ounce, Varbero was charged with two charges for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a felony.
