Police: Unlicensed Driver Left Scene of Port Chester Accident

Yonkers woman located a short distance from Traverse Avenue accident.

A Yonkers woman involved in a two-car accident in Port Chester has been cited for unlicensed driving and leaving the scene of an accident, according to Port Chester Police.

No one was reported injured in the accident on Friday.

Police said Teea Tarver, 23, of Yonkers, is accused of hitting a car on Traverse Avenue and then driving off. She was stopped nearby on Purdy Avenue, police said.

The accident investigation discovered that Tarver does not have a driver's license, police said.

Tarver faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
