Police: Tires Slashed on 4 Cars Parked on Sylvan Road

The owners discovered the vandalism Sunday morning, according to police.

A vandal punctured the tires of four cars on Sylvan Road over the weekend, according to the Port Chester Police Department.

The first driver discovered the vandalism at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning and called police.

Along Sylvan Road -- which runs between Argyle Road and College Avenue near Port Chester High School -- police found four cars with slashed or punctured tires.

In each case, the vandal destroyed the left rear tire; police believe the person was using a knife and selected cars randomly as they walked down the street.

All four car owners said they'd parked their vehicles on the street the previous night, on Saturday.
