Police: Port Chester Store Window Smashed as Two Men Fight

$800 window destroyed, but no one injured in fight at Texas Chili.

Two Port Chester men fighting inside a downtown eatery fell into the shop's front window and shattered the glass, according to Port Chester police.

Although the $800 window was destroyed, police said neither man involved in the fight was injured. Raymond Hill, 25, of 10 Parker St., and Edwin Martinez-Estrada, 32, of 10 Broad St. were both arrested on disorderly conduct and criminal mischief charges as a result of the 4:10 a.m. incident at , 8 S. Main St.

Police said a village officer spotted two men fighting in the eatery and saw them plunge into the shop's front window as he went to investigate. Police said that even after the crash, one of the men still wanted to keep on fighting and briefly struggled with police.

The police officer was not injured in the incident.
