Guiracocha lived at 19 Orchard St. in Port Chester, according to police. The victim has a sister who lives locally, and she was informed of his death before police released details to the public, Chief Joseph Krzeminski said.

The stabbing may have been captured by one or more of several surveillance cameras in the area, and Krzeminski said it's "certainly one of the leads we're pursuing."

Regardless of what may be on surveillance footage, police believe acquaintances and people close to Guiracocha can point them toward his killer.

"We believe these people knew each other," Krzeminski said. "If anyone has any information, call us. They can remain anonymous if they want to."

Anyone with information on the homicide can call the Port Chester Police Department at 914-939-1000.
