Police: PC Man Skipped Court After Domestic Violence Allegations

A Port Chester man was a no-show in court, according to police, earning him a warrant and three new charges.

A Port Chester man skipped out on a court appearance, then surrendered to Greenwich Police when he heard they put out a warrant for his arrest.

Jose D. Aguirre was accused of domestic violence and violating an order of protection. He was arrested on Sept. 26 and again on Oct. 28 on the domestic charges, and was arrested for for violating an order of protection his wife had obtained.

Aguirre, 40, surrendered to Greenwich Police on Jan. 3 to face new charges after skipping a court date -- two counts of first-degree failure to appear in court and one count of second-degree failure to appear in court.

Aguirre, of 40 Grace Church St., was jailed on $45,000 bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 11 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
