Police: Party Bus Trip Ends In DWI Charge For Port Chester Man

A 21-year-old Port Chester man who had been on a party bus trip was charged with drunken driving after he was found passed out in a car that was on the sidewalk — facing on-coming traffic — on North Regent Street, according to .

Police said a 2010 Honda Civic was found stopped on the sidewalk at 4:48 a.m. on Saturday, with the car in gear and the engine running. The driver, Aaron Cueva of 350 N. Regent St., was found passed out behind the wheel, police said.

When a village police officer woke the driver up, police said Cueva became combative and tried to punch the police officer. The officer was able to restrain Cueva, police said, and no one was injured.

Cueva told police that he was headed home after having been on a party bus trip. Cueva was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and was later released pending a Port Chester village court hearing.
