A 23-year-old Poningo Street man who was allegedly intoxicated became aggressive when La Dolce Vita employees would not allow him in to the bar at 2:39 a.m. Sept. 1, Lt. James Ladeairous said. When police arrived to respond to the call the man fought with the officers and spat on their faces as he was being arrested. He was charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, and causing a disturbance, a violation.
