Police: Intoxicated Woman Hit with Drug Charge in Port Chester

She's also accused of disorderly conduct in Westchester Avenue incident.

An intoxicated woman who refused to cooperate with police was charged with disorderly conduct and also hit with a narcotics charge when police found a bag containing drugs while trying to find her identification, according to Port Chester Police.

Village officers went to the intersection of Westchester Avenue and Broad Street at about 11:14 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a report of an intoxicated woman in the area. Police said officers found Marissa DiNardo, 27, of 325 Smith Ridge Road, South Salem.

Police said the woman had a white powder on her face and she appeared intoxicated. When village officers tried to talk with the woman, police said she flung her arms repeatedly and failed to cooperate.

Police said DiNardo was charged with disorderly conduct. Police also said that as officers tried to find her identification, a plastic bag containing narcotics in a bag carried by DiNardo. As a result, she was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

DiNardo faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
