Police: ‘Homeless’ PC Man Arrested for Mescaline, Cocaine, Pot

A 25-year-old Port Chester man was arrested for being in possession of marijuana, cocaine and mescaline after police saw a suspicious vehicle parked at 47 Purdy Avenue on June 16 at 1:45 a.m. Police found five males in the car and allegedly smelled marijuana, Port Chester Police Lt. James Ladeairous said.

 An officer noticed a small black bag underneath one of the passengers and the 25-year-old man said it was his. Inside the bag, police found a small digital scale commonly used in drug sales, 40 small zip lock bags commonly used to package narcotics, 25 grams of marijuana, two small bags of mescaline and one small bag of cocaine.

The 25-year-old man who police report as homeless was charged with two counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of fifth degree possession of marijuana; both misdemeanors.

After the man was arrested police also found marijuana in three of his pants pockets.
