A man who says he is homeless is accused in the theft of $127 worth of merchandise from a Port Chester supermarket, according to Port Chester police.
Jaime Herron, 52, was charged with petty larceny at 2:30 p.m. Friday after workers at the Stop and Shop supermarket reported he put items in a bag and a shopping cart and then left the store without paying, police said.
