Police: Drunk PC Man Bit Woman's Face

Marco Antonio Martinez, 42, blamed alcohol when he texted the victim to apologize.

A Port Chester man was arrested Saturday after assaulting a woman he met at an Adee Street bar, according to police.

Officers responded to La Grotta at 107 Adee St. at 4:20 a.m. for a report of a woman who had been assaulted. The victim, who had bite marks and bruises on her face, told officers she'd met 42-year-old Marco Antonio Martinez when the Port Chester man bought her a drink earlier in the night.

Later, as the 40-year-old Bronx woman left the bar, Martinez followed her out, climbing into a van where she was waiting to go back to the Bronx, Lt. James Ladeairous said.
