Police: Drunk Georgia Man Invited Himself Into PC Apartment

Timothy Joseph Floyd didn't offer any explanation for why he walked into the Midland Avenue apartment at 1 a.m.

A Port Chester man briefly hosted a drunk, uninvited guest who walked into a Midland Avenue apartment at 1 a.m. Friday.

The 29-year-old Port Chester man was startled when the door opened and Timothy Joseph Floyd, 49, stumbled in uninvited. The resident didn't know Floyd, and Floyd didn't respond when the incredulous Port Chester man asked him what he was doing, Lt. James Ladeairous said.

The Port Chester man called police as Floyd began climbing up the stairs toward the second floor, stopping to "attack" a closet door on his way.
