A drunk driver in Port Chester rear ended another motorist and then exited his car, struggling to stand, according to Port Chester Police.
A driver on Regent Street was struck from behind at about 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23, police said. The second driver, who hit the first car, then exited his car while leaving it running.
Authorities said the man was Rinaldo Martinez, a 48-year-old from Tarrytown.
"He said he'd had two beers, but his eyes were bloodshot and he couldn't stand," said Lt. James Ladeairous.
There were no injuries in the accident, Ladeairous added.
Martinez has been charged with aggravated DWI.
