Police arrested a 70-year-old man for DWI after he allegedly drove drunk down Cottage Street and hit several parked cars on Sept. 13 at 10:21 p.m., Lt. James Ladeairous said.
When police arrived, the driver admitted he had been drinking and said he got too close to the parked cars. Police brought him to headquarters where he submitted a blood alcohol content sample greater than .08. He was charged with two misdemeanor DWIs, one for providing a sample greater than .08.
