Police: Driver, 71, Hit Car Parked at Port Chester Police HQ

Greenwich man charged with DWI.

A 71-year-old Greenwich, CT, man was charged with drunken driving after hitting a car parked in front of Port Chester Police headquarters, according to Port Chester Police.

Police said a car owned by a village employee was sidewipped at about 8:58 a.m. Monday as it was parked on North Main Street, in front of police headquarters. Village officers investigating the accident found the driver involved in the accident appeared intoxicated.

After questioning, Joseph Phung of Vinci Drive, Greenwich, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
