Police: Driver, 71, Hit Car Parked at Port Chester Police HQ

Greenwich man charged with DWI.

A 71-year-old Greenwich, CT, man was charged with drunken driving after hitting a car parked in front of Port Chester Police headquarters, according to Port Chester Police.

Police said a car owned by a village employee was sidewipped at about 8:58 a.m. Monday as it was parked on North Main Street, in front of police headquarters. Village officers investigating the accident found the driver involved in the accident appeared intoxicated.

After questioning, Joseph Phung of Vinci Drive, Greenwich, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Phung faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.

Hey Why don't all you drunk drivers stay in your own town.!! Nobody should be driving drunk but why does everybody come to Port Chester! Everybody craps on this town. I think everyone comes here and thinks they can get away with anything. Drunk driving, Robbery etc etc etc. I am so sick of it.. Maybe everyone here should go and do things in other towns and see if they like it!! Its amazing when you read about crimes everyone comes from another town. Why is that?
