Police: CT. Man Arrested After Confrontation With Rye Teens In Port Chester
26-year-old accused of menacing 17-year-olds at McDonald's.
A Connecticut man who approached two Rye teenagers in the parking lot of the Port Chester Sunday night has been arrested on a menacing charge, according to Port Chester police.
Police said Christopher Vasquez, 26, of 46 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, CT, is accused of confronting the two 17-year-old boys at about 10:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the restaurant on Boston Post Road, asking them where they were from and why they were in Port Chester. Police said the teens were concerned about the confrontation and went into the restaurant.
However, police said Vasquez followed the teens into the restaurant and then demanded that the teens buy him food. Workers at the restaurant noticed something was wrong and called police, who investigated and charged Vasquez with menacing.
