Two Port Chester residents reported they were robbed of cash and their cell phones in two unrelated incidents, according to .
A 30-year-old Port Chester woman said that a man on a bicycle pushed her to the ground at about 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday on Poningo Street. In the attack, the woman's purse continaing $300 cash, a $400 phone and credit cards were taken.
The woman fell down several steps and struck her head during the fall and was taken by ambulance to Greenwich (CT) Hospital for treatment. No arrest has been made in the attack.
In what police said was an unrelated incident, a 26-year-old Port Chester man said he found himself without his $600 phone and $500 cash after an unusual encounter with three women on Willet Avenue.
The man told police that after he finished work at about 1 a.m. on Sunday, he went to a bar in Port Chester until about 4 a.m. When he left the bar, the man reported, he was approached by women who propositioned him — asking if he wanted to pay for sex.
The man told police he turned down the solicitation, however, after the encounter he realized his money and phone were missing. No arrests have been made in this incident.
