Police Blotter: Phone Taken, Gold Chain Stolen

Items grabbed in separate incidents.

Telephone stolen

A 20-year-old man who was helping unload boxes in an alley at the Don Bosco Community Center, 22 Don Bosco Place, at 9:49 a.m. Friday reported that he had put his cellular phone down while he working and someone took the phone, according to Port Chester police.

The man valued the T-Mobile phone at $200.

Gold Chain Stolen

A 32-year-old White Plains man reported that at 12:50 a.m. on Friday he was walking on Westchester Avenue near Broad Street when he was approached by two men, with one of the men grabbing a gold chain from his neck, according to police. The robbery victim told police the jewelry was worth $5,000.
