Police: Audio Equipment Taken in Burglary at Ballet School

Police say there was no sign of forced entry.

About $1,700 in audio equipment was stolen from a Westchester Avenue ballet school this weekend, according to Port Chester police.

An employee at the Greenwich Ballet School at 181 Westchester Ave. told police they'd closed up at 8 p.m. on Friday night. When they returned at 9 a.m. the next morning, the equipment was missing.

Taken in the burglary were four BOSE speakers, two audio receivers, and two CD decks. There was no sign of forced entry at the third-floor studio, Lt. James Ladeairous said.
