Police: 3 Men Jump Stranger on N. Main Street

A Port Chester man was sent to Greenwich hospital for bleeding from the head after three men he said did not know allegedly jumped him around 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 8 on N. Main Street, near police station headquarters, Lt. James Ladeairous said. After a witness described the assaulters, police caught three suspects shortly after. Francisco Maldonado, 24, Manuel Maldonado, 21; Jesus Maldonado, 19, all of 465 N. Main Street, were each charged with third degree assault, a misdemeanor.

The victim, a 23-year-old Port Chester man, received six staples for a laceration to his head. He and a witness told police the three men threw him to the ground and repeatedly kicked and punched him all over his body and head.

The alleged beating started when the victim was walking with two other friends, police said. The victim told police one of the Maldonados said something to one of his friends and when he told them “everything is ok” they jumped him. The victim’s friends ran away, Ladeairous said.
