An Elmsford man is charged with petty larceny in connection with the theft of a 15 pound box of veal from a Port Chester store, according to Port Chester Police.
Martin Torres, 37, of 17 N. Lawn Ave., Elmsford, was cited for theft of $158 worth of meat after workers at the Restaurant Depot store on South Regent Street complained that Torres put the veal under vegetables and left the store without paying for the meat on Sunday. Torres paid for the vegetables, police said.
Torres faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
