PC Teen Burglarizes Neighbor, Admits It to Their Dog Walker

When a local dog walker told her friend how she discovered a client's home had been burglarized and ransacked, she probably did not expect him admit to the crime. But that is what happened when 17-year-old Christopher Carbanaro allegedly admitted to his friend he had stolen a 20-inch flat screen television, xBox, xBox games and controllers from a family who lived on his own street, Breckenridge Avenue, Port Chester Police Lt. James Ladeairous said. Carbanaro knew the family was out of town because the dog walker had told him, Ladeairous said.

The burglary was originally reported on Aug. 11. Police arrested Carbanaro two days later on a felony burglary charge and a criminal possession of burglary tools, a misdemeanor charge.
