Mower Stolen From Perry Ave. Lawn In A Flash

A thief made off with the $300 Craftsman lawnmower in a brazen move, police say.

Has The Flash turned to a life of crime?

Police are investigating the theft of a lawn mower after the owner literally turned his back for a minute or two as he was about to cut the grass at his Perry Avenue home.

The victim, a 60-year-old man, wheeled his Craftsman lawnmower out at 6:40 p.m. and left it on the lawn as he went back into his garage to retrieve a gas can, Lt. James Ladeairous said. After fueling up, the man returned the gas can to his garage, but when he returned the lawnmower was gone.
