Missing Ohio Girl, 13, Found with Her Boyfriend, 19, in Port Chester

Boyfriend charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

A 19-year-old Ohio man has been arrested after bringing his 13-year-old girlfriend with him to stay at the home of relatives in Port Chester, according to Port Chester police.

The girl, who went with the 19-year-old voluntarily, was reported missing by her parents and was located by police after an investigation, according to Port Chester Police Lt. James Ladeairous.

Juan Carlos Marroquin of Denison Avenue in Cleveland, OH, is being held in the Westchester County Jail in Valahalla on $2,500 bail pending a hearing on Thursday on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

The investigation began on Saturday after Port Chester police were notified by the 13-year-old girl's parents that she was missing and could possibly be in Port Chester with Marroquin. Ladeairous said the two were staying at the home of a relative of Marroquin's in Port Chester.

Ladeairous said the girl was found safe and she was turned over to Westchester County Child Protective Services. The girl was taken to a county facility to await the arrival of her parents, who were driving in from Ohio to take her home, Ladeairous said.

Marroquin was sent to the county jail after arraignment in Port Chester Village Court.
