Man Found Sleeping in Port Chester Diner Refused to Leave

He's charged with disorderly conduct.

A 22-year-old Port Chester man was charged with disorderly conduct after he was found sleeping in a diner and refused to leave, according to Port Chester police.

The staff of the on Boston Post Road told police that they found two men sleeping in the diner at 4:30 a.m. on Monday — one was sleeping at a table and the other was on the floor. Workers woke the men up and asked them to leave.

The men went outside of and one of them left, but police said the other man went back into the diner and wouldn't leave.

The 22-year-old village resident was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge, a violation, and faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
