Man Beat Up Outside McDonald's in Port Chester

Police are searching for members of one party involved in what appeared to be a road rage-fueled assault at McDonald’s on the Boston Post Road.

According to someone who witnessed the incident, problems started when a man trying to drive out of the McDonald’s lot was forced to stop by a green BMW sedan that had stopped in front of him. The man beeped his horn, at which point an object was thrown from the BMW at his car, and then he threw a bottle back at the BMW, witnesses said.

Then, the man exited his car and was confronted by three people exiting the BMW: a white woman and two black males.

The three proceeded to beat on the man, “with the female landing the most strikes,” said Lt. James Ladeairous of the Port Chester Police Department.

By the time police arrived, the man was lying bleeding in the drive-thru at the McDonald’s, police said. He was taken to Greenwich Hospital for treatment of non-serious injuries, police said. Nobody got a plate on the BMW, and police are investigating.
